FAMOUS magazine 'Top ten trends from MBFWA'

Featuring our 'Magic waters' top and shorts from our SS12 range 'The life between.'

It is so exciting seeing all the lovely pieces for the up and coming season. Throughout the week there were lots of pastel pieces with floral accents. Show stopping neons were also a big part of spring/summer trends for 2012. Details like sheer shirting and cut outs played along the pretty and feminine looks of the warmer months.


FAMOUS magazine 'Backstage beauties'

Featuring our 'Magic waters' top and shorts and 'deep sea dress.'

A whole lot of fun in one page! Models were snapped backstage before, during and after the shows in their lovely Spring/Summer wardrobe. There's nothing like a cheeky pose to capture the mood backstage.


NW magazine 'Whitney's guide to new season trends'

Featuring our 'Flower field top' and 'Spirited life skirt.'
Tv personality, clothing designer and author Whitney Port made a guest appearance at MBFWA. 
Whitney Port takes us through her Spring/Summer new season trends and focuses how to style each trend. 
A key trend for the season is pastel shades which is a key focus throughout our 'The life between' collection.

Whitney says "Pastels all go really well together. It's easy to mix and match and wear multiples all at once.'
Pastels are light and feminine and easy to wear back with existing summer staples like a white shirt or denim shorts.

Here at Miss Unkon we just love soft little sorbet shades for Summer :-)

With such a colourful and feminine collection we decided to give our Miss Unkon girl a playful top-knot with a difference. Silver rings were added with twists and knots throughout the style to give a contemporary feel to the overall look.

It seemed that the top-knot is still a key trend in hair, with other designers boasting their own take on the favoured hairstyle.

We hope you loved our hair and beauty look as much as we do!

WHO magazine 'Catwalk to closet'

Featuring our 'Peace and harmony dress' from our transeasonal 'Soul keepers' range.

We can't wait to drop our new transeasonal collection throughout July. Not much longer now!

Our lovely peace and harmony dress is a unique piece featuring an assymmetric hemline and cut out detail at the back. It is so versatile and can be worn both casual and dressed up. Such a pretty colour to layer with in the cooler months.
