I am posting this video because it needs to be seen by the world and especially by people like you, who like us want to make a difference to the world and to our animals. I have always been passionate about animals, loving their simplicity in being and their loving nature. So watching this had me feel saddened and fired up to share and take action to do something to impact not just now but the future.
It had me think, what are the actions that I take everyday that contributes to this eg, throwing and using plastic bottles away. Where is my rubbish really ending up?
I have always been conscious of choices I make due to growing up with the recycle campaigns that were taught to us all through primary school and from growing up in my childhood in the country and having a family that embraced creativity and nature by often finding ways to turn 'rubbish' into works of art.
Actually my very first design I pattern made and created was at age 12 after I found a lonesome piece of fabric that had been used to provide padding to a package. I grabbed it and turned it into a new potential. (Not my finest design) but indeed a memory and start of a dream future in the world of fashion.
So watch, share and take an action. What can you do to make a difference?
1. What's in your basket? Look at what you are putting into your grocery shopping basket. Is the majority waste that will end up in the dump?
2. Buy fresh vegetables and take a basket or beautiful handbag to take your shopping home.
3. Send your organic waste to be recycled back into the earth, check out www.envirolove.com.au
4. Buy natural packaging that you can recycle.
Thank you and please share and comment.
I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas.
This video is about an island in the ocean at 2000 km from any other coast line.
Nobody lives, only birds and yet ...............
You will not believe your eyes!!!!!!!
